Artist biography: Ro Lohin is a painter based in New York City, known for her evocative works that explore landscape and the emotional resonance of natural environments. She holds an MFA from the New York Studio School and has been a resident artist at prestigious institutions such as the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris and the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation. Lohin’s work has been widely exhibited in solo and group shows across the U.S. and internationally, including at the New York Studio School, The Painting Center, and galleries in Morocco, Japan, and Ireland. In addition to her practice, she has taught at various universities, including Alfred University and Western Carolina University, and served as the director and owner of the Lohin Geduld Gallery. Lohin’s artwork and exhibitions are often featured in publications such as The New York Post and Hamptons Art Hub.
