Artist biography: Colin Goldberg is an American artist whose work bridges painting, digital drawing, and digital mixed media, often incorporating augmented reality as part of his process.He coined the term Techspressionism in 2011 to describe his use of technology as a vehicle for emotional expression. In 2020, he initiated the formation of the Techspressionist artist group, which has grown to include more than 350 artists across over 45 countries. The movement has expanded through collaborative, networked practice and the widespread use of the hashtag #techspressionism, which has appeared in over 85,000 Instagram posts.
